Strawberry Delight

Doesn't this look absolutely AMAZING? It is so yummy and quick to make. My cousin, Liz (click on her name for the full recipe), posted these and they are fabulous! They take only seconds to make and are just the best. I love that they are mostly fruit so I don't feel so guilty eating them. Thank you Liz!!

One Silly Little Monkey

Entertainment at it's finest! He is so dang fun to have around. He makes me smile all day every day.

His favorite phrase is "Want nana?" He loves loves loves bananas. I can't keep enough in the house for him. Monkey material for sure!

He is always smiling! He is very cautious and very nervous to venture off on his own. Got to love that!

And lets not forget his brother, Calvin. Two Silly Little Monkeys!

Food Co-op

I've been ordering food from a local food co-op here in Salt Lake. I love picking up my order each month.



For the month of January, this is what I got with my $30.
4 different meats
chicken thighs
hamburger
pork roast
beef steaks
5 different veggies
potatoes
cauliflower
zucchini
tomatoes
spinach
3 different fruits
tangelos (never tried before)
apples
pears
3 loaves of artisan wheat bread

One thing I really like about getting a variety like this is that I try a lot of different fruits and veggies that I normally wouldn't buy.
They always have an add-on section that will have yummy stuff like Miss Elsie's BBQ Shredded Pork...AMAZING! They have amazing nut assortments or unique salsa's. I love the Happy Monkey hummus! Delish!

I need some help...

I really want to repaint my bedroom. I have very similar furntire to this. It's a honey pine color right now. I have a mostly white duvet cover with red accents on it right now. I'd like to still use my duvet cover and the red accents. I like the wall color in this first pic.


Should I paint my funiture this antique color or

this black color?

I'll take any additional ideas too.

We are having...

I don't know! We have decided not to find out. I've always found out before but I really want it to be a surprise on the D-day. I don't need anything for either gender. I have neutral crib bedding but lets be honest "it" will sleep with us. They ALL do:) Well, they used to until they got too big or kicked in their sleep a little too much. I have the big u/s in one month. I could have a gender ultrasound any time but I honestly have no desire. So if you will...think girlie thoughts for me. It really doesn't matter what "it" is just that we get to bring "it" home (hopefully right away). But if I had a choice I'd go for evening up the numbers around here.
